NORTON Was introduced by Dr. Daniel Norborne Norton of Richmond, Virginia who selected it from among what he believed were seedlings of a long forgotten grape variety. At the 1873 Vienna World Exposition a Norton wine won a gold medal. Our Nortin Wine Jelly is winning the hearts of Wine Lovers throughout the region
ROSE Historically rosé was quite a delicate, dry wine, exemplified by Anjou rosé from the French region of Loire. Red-skinned grapes are crushed and the skins are allowed to remain in contact with the juice for a short period of time. Rosé wines are produced throughout central VA and we use select rosés to create our delicious Rosé wine jelly.
VIOGNIER Viognier is an ancient grape that may have originated in Dalmatia Italy and was brought to Rhône by the Romans. Around the 1960s, the grape was almost extinct when there were only eight acres left in Northern Rhône. Today we use only the finest Viognier wine produced to create our Viognier Wine Jelly.
Albemarle Red A special blend of Cabernet Sauvigon, Norton, and Chambourcin wines create an incredible flavor in our Wine Jelly. This special blend makes our Albemarle Red the perfect addition to any meal. You can drizzle it over ice cream, combine it with sharp cheddar to go with your Apertif, use it for your peanut butter & jelly sandwich, or just spread it on your toast.
